The centre was inaugurated in 2002, but it was in 2004 that we started taking up IVF cases. The chief source of motivation was the fire to start doing something different, something more challenging than the general gynaecology. Once I decided that I would be venturing into Assistant reproduction, I set up a team of doctors consisting of embryologist, andrologist, gynaecologist and efficient staff to back up the team. Then I went to infertility centres in London and Belgium. My embryologist has been Luna Samant, a accomplished scientist in this subject, who also went for various trainings in ICSI and IVF and we all joined hands to set up a formidable team. Today it is spread across approximately 800 sq feet and equipped with the most advanced equipments and facilities.
